Behind every WordClock Jupiter lies a sophisticated design and development process in our
Stuttgart-based innovation hub.

This is where the ideas for new front covers are born, where we test the haptic feel of innovative surfaces, and where we define the strict quality criteria for our materials.

From this, we develop the design of the new front cover and have a prototype manufactured, which is put through its paces. Only when the new product fully meets our high quality standards does the new front cover go into production.

Our goal: to find materials that unfold an architectural and emotional impact within a space. To realize these visions without compromise, we have our designs manufactured in highly specialized factories that execute our specifications with absolute precision.

Moving to a new place, a new wall color, or just looking for a change of scenery?

The WordClock Jupiter adapts to life. The centerpiece of our clocks – the precise control electronics and the energy-efficient LED sections – rests securely inside the high-quality basswood base.
The material front fits the base perfectly and can be exchanged in a single step without any tools.

That means: A WordClock for decades.
If the interior style changes, a new front panel can easily be ordered from the Stuttgart-based innovation hub — and the clock transforms into a completely new design object in no time.

Precision in detail

Every front panel – whether ultra-lightweight PLA or heavy real concrete casting – is precisely matched to the light channels of the base. This ensures razor-sharp, perfectly legible letters without any distracting stray light.

Resource-saving

Instead of buying a completely new clock when changing styles, only the surface is replaced. This conserves valuable electronic resources.

Eco-friendly wooden base

The eco-friendly, multi-layered wooden base combines traditional material quality with modern functionality, creating a premium, stable foundation for every front panel.
