The patina develops over hours to days. Finally, the surface is protected.
The characteristic Verdigris surface is not industrially smooth or artificially uniform, but is created through a handcrafted process. Each brass front is prepared, treated, and thereby receives its individual patina.
This creates natural differences in color, structure, and intensity. Sometimes the surface appears lighter and fresher, sometimes deeper and more strongly marked. It is precisely these irregularities that make up the appeal of the Verdigris Edition.
