The following projects we have already supported in the past, and we continue to aim at doing good \u2014 not only for the environment but also for people:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/word-clock.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Jannik_und_Davide-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h2>Donation project for open workshops in Germany<\/h2>\n<p>During the pre-Christmas season of 2020, we donated part of our kits to various open workshops in Germany. Our goal was to give private individuals access to production tools and modern industrial manufacturing processes for unique pieces, and especially to introduce children to tools and technology.<\/p>\n<p>We were able to make a helpful contribution in the following facilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/makerspace-rheinneckar.de\/\">Makerspace Rhein-Neckar UG (limited liability), Ludwigshafen am Rhein<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/makerspacebonn.de\/\">Makerspace Bonn<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.caritaswerkstaetten-hochrhein.de\/\">Caritas Workshops Hochrhein Non-Profit Ltd., Waldshut-Tiengen<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/verschwoerhaus.de\/en\/\">Verschwoerhaus e.V., Ulm<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/word-clock.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG_20210408_161346_1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h2>Stuffed Animal Donation Campaign to the Stuttgart Association \u201cHelping Hands e.V.\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>At Easter 2021, we initiated a donation campaign in a cuddly way, to bring a smile to children\u2019s faces even during the current situation. We launched a call to donate abandoned stuffed animals to save them from ending up in bulky waste and to give them a new home for cuddling. The numerous donations went to the association \u201cHelping Hands e.V.,\u201d which supports facilities for children with cancer and disadvantaged children in children\u2019s homes with all kinds of donations in kind. With this donation campaign, we were delighted to collect a large number of various stuffed animals. Many thanks to you!<\/p>\n<p>For more social projects, visit the association \u201cHelping Hands e.V.\u201d at:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.helfendehaendeev.de\/der-foerderverein\/\">https:\/\/www.helfendehaendeev.de\/der-foerderverein\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/word-clock.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/wordclock_valentine_johannes.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h2>Donation project to an internationally operating creative workshop in Ludwigsburg<\/h2>\n<p>In 2020, we donated part of our kits to the mobile and stationary creative workshop \u201cTinkertank.\u201d In this workshop, participants are given the opportunity not only to modify our kits but also to transform other things with new ideas creatively \u2014 all under the motto \u201cupcycling.\u201d At the same time, through this project we were able to stimulate creative and self-organized problem-solving processes \u2014 in line with the conviction and experience of Tinkertank.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"554\" height=\"554\" src=\"https:\/\/word-clock.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Social_Inner_2_1.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<h2>The development project \u2018Assin-Akonfudi\u2019 in Ghana<\/h2>\n<p>A school expansion in Assin-Akonfudi, initiated years ago by the government, could not be renovated for a long period due to financial shortages. The school remains in poor condition to this day. The most urgent need is for school desks, since many children have to bring chairs from home. However, not every family can afford a chair. To still provide the children with a place to learn and thus enable school attendance, the project initiated by Christa Amelung in summer 2019 collects donations for the equipment and maintenance of the school, under the motto: \u201cEducation needs space, children need places to learn.\u201d Since then, thanks to the help of many committed supporters, some of the 300 required school desks have already been donated. We also responded to this call and donated 5 school desks to the students. The desks and tables are built by the village carpenter using locally available wood. This both supports local employment and keeps transport costs low. With this donation, we want to contribute to a future of equal opportunities, fight poverty, and give children access to education.<\/p>\n<p><em>Who is behind it?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Community Citizens\u2019 Committee for Development Cooperation Steinhagen, together with the Citizens\u2019 Committee for Municipal Development Cooperation Woerden, supports this and other development projects, especially in Africa.
